A large chair is set by the window from which to enjoy the view. There is only one bedroom at the back of the house and this looks out over lower Queen Street with a large garden, magnificent Ash tree, and a small view of the sea and Newlyn fishing village in the background. A window seat is provided in this room. Every room is carpeted and has lined curtains to ensure a quiet night’s rest.
View of Regent Square from a Guest Room. Built in 1839 from local granite, Regent Square was designed as a fashionable Georgian Square to house the local gentry. It has been meticulously maintained and over 170 years later remains one of Penzance's most architecturally impressive areas.
The rooms feature contemporary, Scandinavian furnishings in either mahogany or teak, with a large dressing table, wardrobe and bedside cabinets providing ample room for storage. Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and maintained on a daily basis and frequently redecorated.
Each bedroom and bathroom is anonymously inspected on an annual basis by the English Tourism Council to assure visitors that the highest standards of comfort and cleanliness are present at all times.
Guest rooms feature either en suite or personal facilities comprising of a shower, toilet and wash basin. Keys are issued on arrival and access to accommodation is unrestricted and available 24 hours a day.
