The gardens were crafted to commemorate the chapel of St Anthony which once stood nearby and is thought to have been built in 6th century by fishermen. They were officially opened on May 31st 1933 and became the home to a large fountain which originally stood outside St John's Hall. The fountain is of particular interest as it is carved from a single piece of granite. These small gardens are open 24 hours a day and have plenty of benches with magnificent views across the bay.
They have an adjacent pay & display car park.
